Mister Ruffles loves pineapples. Ergo I love pineapples. Let me explain …
We moved in together almost 4 years ago now (seriously it feels like yesterday) and upon merging our respective belongings I was astonished by the amount of pineapple paraphernalia he owned. Pine-aphernalia shall we call it? It works yeah?
Anyways I digress. Mister Ruffles loves pineapples so he/I/we now owned a pair of pineapple cushions, a pineapple ice-bucket and even (bizarrely enough) a pineapple tea-light holder?! Luckily this love of pineapples rubbed off on me and now we have quite a collection of pine-aphernalia and its ever-growing.

However we don’t seem to be alone in our shared love of pineapples and this year there seems to be a definite fruity flavour to all manner of products, from lairy and loud pineapple printed trousers to cheeky colour-in-by-numbers wallpapers featuring the pineapple … and I love it! To give you an example of this, type the word pineapple into ASOS and it comes up with over 27 items. Pineapples are big news this year!
Here are a few of my favourite pineapple pieces including some of the items we own too. Oh and yes, my favourite cocktail is of course, a Pina Colada!
